What I build · Systems that notice
When grading ends,
the record stays
Tests are given, graded and explained every week. Yet who got what wrong disappears with the paper. I make it so that photographing the answers grades them and builds records by student and question type.
A good fit when
Frequent tests, but nothing recorded
Grading takes too long
If you grade by hand and copy scores again, one phone photo replaces that work.
No one knows who misses which type
If only scores remain, every question gets a type and results are gathered per student.
Everyone hears the same review
If the whole class hears the same explanation, each student gets told where to look again.
What I build
Screens from grading to records
Every academy gets its own version. These are the usual pieces.
Phone grading
Students point a camera at the answer sheet and it is graded on the spot.
Records by type
Each question carries a type, so each student's accuracy builds up by type.
Class statistics
See which questions and types the class missed most at a glance.
What to review next
Each student is linked to questions and materials for the types they missed.
How I work
The person who listens and designs also builds.
- 1
Listen
I hear the director's and teachers' day from start to finish.
- 2
Map the flow
I map where records are created and where they stall.
- 3
Design · Build
I build the system around how the academy works and what it believes about teaching.
- 4
Settle in
I train teachers until it feels natural and adjust how things run.
- 5
Run
Requests that come up in daily use keep getting built in.
Tell me about your academy's day.
We start by finding where time leaks and which students are slipping out of view.

At first the teacher turns the light on. In the end, students turn it on themselves.
